VIOLETS AND BLUEBIRDS -A STAINED GLASS LAMPSHADE

When I decided to give an unusual twist

to a stained glass painting.

I decided to light it ...

So I got my carpenter to

make a sturdy wooden frame 

with a groove to slide in a a glass sheet.

and an additional holder and wiring

made it a lampshade with a difference.

And ,I set off with my glass liners 

and some glass  colors and

 you  see the the end product...

My Stained glass lampshades...

Here are a few of my simple and attractive stained glass lampshades...
I worked with solvent based glass colors and liner on readily available shades.
This simple enhancement gave the plain lampshades and my home a new ,vibrant makeover....
